Club team takes on Rebels
After weeks of trying, the Nevada rugby team has finally scheduled a game with UNLV.
The Wolf Pack will travel to Las Vegas Sept. 27, the same weekend as Nevada and UNLV’s football game, to renew the interstate rivalry.
“I just called them and asked them if they wanted to play a friendly (game),” Rugby President Kyle Herzberg said. “I can’t remember the score of the last game we played them, but I know we won by at least two tries (rugby’s equivilant to a touchdown).”
