Nevada center Dominic Green was named to the Rimington Award Watch List Wednesday, which is given to the nation’s most outstanding center.
Green sat out a scrimmage game August because of a concussion and missed half of last year with ankle injuries. He appeared in the Wolf Pack’s final scrimmage and should be ready for the start of the 2008 season against Grambling State, coach Chris Ault said.
“(Green) is in his last year as a Wolf Pack and I expect him to lay it on the line and play the best football he’s ever played.”
