Twelve new athletes have been added to this season’s Nevada’s Track and Field Team. La Tijera Avery, Brandy Dyer, Schaveyantay Hill, April Pate, Jane Swenson, Jordan Burke, Kalyn Kenney and Joelle Slater all signed national letters of intent while head coach Shantel Twiggs also added Christy Works, Gloria Sosa, Tiffany Hutton and Sarah Burton, extending the depth of an already stacked track and field team. These 12 individuals will try to contribute to a team that finished fifth in the 2008 Western Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships at Boise State.
