A University of Nevada, Reno employee is under investigation by the attorney general’s office for possible possession of child pornography on his work computer, university spokeswoman Jane Tors said.
Tors said she could not comment further on the investigation surrounding George S. Leone, manager of the facilities department.
University employees and students log onto computers using individual identification codes, Tors said.
“For the most part, as employees of the university, access is on your ID,” she said.
She could not comment on the specific personnel matter, she said, but during an investigation, the employee would usually be placed on administrative leave and would continue receiving a paycheck.

Better to use the word “allegedly” when making allegations or else you’ll expose yourself and this paper to unnecessary legal risk if it turns out to be a baseless claim.
