The Nevada System of Higher Education Board of Regents will meet from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and from 8 to 11 a.m. Friday at the Desert Research Institute in Las Vegas.

The regents will discuss the Fire Science Academy and the 2009-11 biennium budget, among other topics.

The Board of Regents meetings are held every month and rotate between Nevada institutions.
