UNR journalism professor dies

Reynolds School of Journalism Professor David Morrow died Monday night after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in early January. Morrow, 49, was the first Reynolds Endowed Chair in Business Journalism at the university.

Morrow came to the University of Nevada, Reno in August after serving eight years as the editor-in-chief  of thestreet.com.  Previously, he was recognized for his work at The New York Times, SmartMoney and Fortune.

Plans for a memorial service have not been released. Cards can be sent to Morrow’s family at:
