While Reno is known for its iconic moniker of “The Biggest Little City in the World,” by no means are its burgers. These are the giants of the grilling scene and here are the reasons why:

1. Juicy’s Giant Hamburgers:

Let the hatemail commence. While the Awful Awful is the easy pick for any college student or any Reno native, there is something appealing about rooting for an underdog. Juicy’s has that old drive-in feel and the restaurant is typically never very crowded adding to its appeal.

What makes Juicy’s burgers special is that they have this great natural taste that comes from their burgers being unique onto themselves, they literally taste like the best backyard burgers ever. While the steak fries compliment is nice, it doesn’t have the raw child obesity power of what ties for the top spot on this list.

2. Awful Awful

3. Washoe

Burger Me!

One word comes to mind when talking about the Truckee, Calif. mainstay: overrated. While the menu is diverse (bottle caps and a wide array of toppings) the burgers themselves are too much and don’t stack up to the price range of the other locations mentioned on this list.
