As the Wolf Pack made its push toward the top 10 last season, Fox refused to shorten his bench. Freshmen like Brandon Fields, JaVale McGee and Matt LaGrone continued to get crucial minutes down the stretch and in the postseason. With the loss of four starters from last year’s team — including Nick Fazekas, the best player in school history — the Wolf Pack needs those minutes to translate to better production this season.

Sophomore forward Tyrone Hanson has been dismissed from the Nevada men’s basketball team, coach Mark Fox said at a Tuesday press conference.

Hanson was involved with the confrontation at a party on Saturday night where three people were shot and killed, including University of Nevada, Reno student and former Tau Kappa Epsilon president Derek Jensen.
