New events, more student participation and Lt. Dangle of “Reno 911” will help redefine Homecoming 2007, student programming director Eli Reilly said. University of Nevada, Reno club Circle K brought two bands to campus for a mellow fundraiser Thursday but was met with a small crowd, said Gracie Geremia, club president.
Lopez, a former sex worker, spoke at the Jot Travis Student Union Pine Lounge Sept. 4 as a part of the Nevada Speakers Series. About 60 students showed up to the event, Flipside programmer Tim Taycher said. He said he viewed it as a success.
