Two sexual assault victims and girl who was with Brianna Denison the night of her disappearance testified in Reno Justice Court as part of the preliminary hearing of James Michael Biela. Biela is charged with three counts of sexual assault, and one count of murder, kidnapping and attempted sexual assault.
Police are investigating a sexual assault that occurred on campus during the weekend and was reported Sunday, according to the campus police blotter. The University of Nevada, Reno Police department said that the victim and suspect were acquaintances.
No further information could be released because the case is still under investigation, UNRPD Director Adam Garcia, said.

LAS VEGAS - A sea of students from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas protested possible tuition increase at Thursday’s Board of Regents meeting and pledged to continue fighting the possibility.
The student senate passed a resolution Wednesday night against a proposed tuition increase. The Board of Regents will discuss the increase at their meeting this week. The resolution, originally written by former senator Taylor R. Anderson and sponsored by Sens. Priscilla Acosta and Jennifer Richards underwent many amendments before being passed.
