The Reno Police Department and University of Nevada, Reno Police Services are attempting to locate and interview UNR students who attended a house party on the 500 block of College Drive Jan. 19. The party lasted until the early morning hours of Jan. 20. Detectives want to speak to students in reference to the investigation for the abduction and murder of Brianna Denison.

Students who attended the party between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. are encouraged to call RPD Detective Phil Scichilone at 775-334-2188.

Two retired FBI profilers and a former Secret Service psychologist say the man responsible for Brianna Denison’s murder is likely to strike again – and will continue until he is caught.

But to what degree and where he’ll commit his next crime is too hard to tell as the Reno community continues to search for him.

“What may change is where it’s occurring and who the victims are,” said Gregg McCrary, 58, a former FBI profiler who now runs a Fredericksburg, Va., consulting company, Behavioral Criminology International. “Usually they don’t stop by their own volition. They usually have to be stopped by outside law enforcement.”

Denison was found strangled and dead in a south Reno Feb. 15 field nearly a month after she was abducted from a friend’s house. Since her body was found, thousands of people – from close friends and family to strangers and people she met only once – have come out to remember “Bri.”
