A women reported she was sexually battered mid October near 11th Street and Buena Vista Avenue, according to a university police e-mail sent out Wednesday afternoon.
The woman reported the male suspect came from behind her and touched her right breast. The victim screamed, then ran west on 11th Street.
The suspect is described as a white male adult, between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall wearing a black baseball cap and black hooded sweatshirt.

Police are searching for the owner of a pair of panties found at the south Reno field where Brianna Denison’s body was found.
The Reno Police Department determined the thong did not belong to Denison or the two women from the sexual assaults last year. The black thong has caricatures of the Pink Panther’s head and pink hearts.

“Hundreds of blue ribbons cover the campus – tied to fences, poles and trees.
They started appearing late Saturday, hours after police announced that Brianna Denison’s body had been found.
Each ribbon is supposed to represent Denison’s memory, as asked by her family in a statement released Saturday.

A 24-year-old University of Nevada, Reno student is in the Renown Medical Center with major injuries after being hit by a car Saturday night, Reno police said.

A university employee reported blood splatter in a men’s restroom in the Getchell Library.
A university employee reported that her vehicle had been taken without permission. The vehicle was later returned to the Jones Visitor Center parking area.
