In recent history, the Nevada cross country team has finished its seasons strong. In 2008 the team placed third in the Western Athletic Conference Championships and in 2006 and 2007 the Wolf Pack ran its way into second place.

Dines’ running tale


In April, Tara Dines decided to start running as a way to get into shape. She had been an athlete in high school, playing volleyball and basketball, but had not competed in any organized sports since arriving at the University of Nevada, Reno.
