Soccer team drops WAC Championship

The Cinderella run of the Nevada women’s soccer team finally ended Sunday afternoon with a 1-0 loss to Boise State in the Western Athletic Conference championship game in Boise. The loss snapped a season-high five-game winning streak for the Wolf Pack.

Soccer team falls in championship game

Nevada’s soccer team fell to Boise State 1-0 in the Western Athletic Conference Championship game Sunday. With the victory Boise State will make its first appearance in the NCAA Tournament in program history.

Pack wins third in four

Last weekend’s successful home stand for the Nevada soccer team was followed up by a split with the Wolf Pack beating North Dakota 3-1 Sunday morning but dropping a 4-1 game to Minnesota on Friday in the Minnesota Gold Classic in Minneapolis, Minn.
