Feifei Fan confirmed on her website that she was terminated from the university.
The Nevada Sagebrush reached out to Jiang and Fan for comment, but they have not responded.

Feifei Fan and Yanyao Jiang, former mechanical engineering professors of the University of Nevada, Reno involved in a lawsuit against the university for alleged assault are no longer employed at the university as of Jan. 19, according to Scott Walquist, director of communications at UNR.
Walquist told The Sagebrush that the information on why they are no longer employed with the university is confidential.
